Bookings

On StudioPlugger, you can book studios worldwide with two different types of reservations: hourly or daily.

Hourly Bookings

Hourly bookings allow you to rent a studio for the time you need, generally under 10 hours. They’re more affordable than daily rates and are ideal for one-shot sessions.

When booking, you might need to wait for slot approval: many studios also have offline bookings, so verifying availability before confirming is necessary. Once approved, you can proceed with payment.

Be sure to check the studio rules and technical details. If you have any questions, it’s best to chat with the host before arriving.

Need to cancel or reschedule? Each studio has its own refund policy: some offer full refunds, others partial or none. Communication with the host is key. If policies change unexpectedly after booking, contact support—we’ll do our best to help.

Daily Bookings

Daily bookings let you rent a studio for full days, or even weeks/months. They’re perfect for having a stable music-making base and getting familiar with the space. Some studios even offer full retreat experiences.

As with hourly bookings, you may need approval before paying. Once approved, proceed with payment to confirm.

Always check studio rules and technical specs, and use the chat to contact the host with any doubts before arrival.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, refund policies vary. Communication is essential. If the cancellation policy changes unexpectedly, contact support—we'll do what we can to help.

Payments

Payment Types

When you pay for a listing, your order receipt may include several items:
- Studio fee
- Service fee
- Possible deposit
- Optional extra services

The first two are the cost of the studio and StudioPlugger’s service fee. A deposit may be required as a security for instruments or the space. Optional services might include a sound engineer, external resources, or special equipment—and are entirely optional.

If you’ve booked and need an invoice but didn’t receive one automatically from the payment processor, contact support and we’ll assist you.

Note that we currently do not offer subscriptions. If you see suspicious charges, your card or account may be compromised. Contact us and we’ll help as quickly as possible.

Support

If you want to update your account information, enable two-factor authentication, or change your billing address, just log into your dashboard.
