Nestled in the hills of Carmarthenshire near the Brecon Beacons, Red Kite Studio is a residential recording retreat designed by acclaimed engineer and producer Martin Levan. The studio offers an immersive and uninterrupted creative environment where artists can focus entirely on the music. With high vaulted ceilings, natural daylight, and a warm sonic character shaped by oak and maple interiors, Red Kite Studio merges nature with state-of-the-art technology to deliver a truly exceptional recording experience.

The space

The studio features a large live room and an acoustically tuned control room, both sharing high ceilings and glass partitions for direct line of sight. The natural open-plan layout enhances communication among musicians, producers, and engineers. A small private kitchen with spring water, snacks, and the occasional homemade cake adds to the comfort of your stay. On-site accommodation is available, making it an ideal destination for extended recording sessions.

Studio Rules

– Bookings must be arranged in advance.
– Residential stays require a deposit and confirmed itinerary.
– Smoking is not allowed inside the facility.
– Food and beverages are permitted in kitchen and lounge areas only.
– Clients are responsible for backup of their files; Red Kite Studio is not liable for lost or unretrieved session data.
– Final material is released upon full payment.

Cancellation Policy

For residential bookings, cancellations made less than 14 days in advance may incur a fee. Please inquire for specific terms based on your booking duration.
